Bobrie L. Ward
January 7, 1910 - October 2, 1977
Bobrie L. Ward was a son of Percy Ward and Bertha Ward. He was born January 7, 1910, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and died October 2, 1977, and is buried in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Bakersfield, California. Bobrie Ward was a very strong person and he was called "Man" by the family because of this. He was also very generous, always wanting to do something for his relatives. He attended Merrill High School in Pine Bluff, and also enjoyed hunting. He married the late Gertrude Seals and in 1933 they came to Washington State where most of his children were born.
After many years in Seattle, Bobrie changed his residence to Bakersfield, California, later marrying Leartria Ward and having a daughter, Sandra Starling and a stepdaughter, Charlene Jackson. He maintained an excellent vegetable garden there.
