Chester Ward was the son of Percy Ward and Bertha Ward. He was born in Arkansas in 1906 and died in Seattle, Washington, in 1984, and is buried in Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton, Washington.

 

He married Mildred Tyler Ward in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, later he married Gladys Ward in Seattle and was the stepfather for her two children: Bardolph (Tutti) Ward and Richard (Porky) Ward. After her death, he married Ruby Fraizer Ward.
